A few little Haiku verses about folk on AB;

Here we go again
Gulliver insults Boris
TTT bristles

Clue cannot be solved
Danny comes to the rescue
Another BA

Friday, without fail
Chris puts us all to the task
He's such a 'good boy'

And one for those who have been playing against 'Bill' at Crib;

I play Bill daily
Some games i win, some i lose
Card turn favours Bill!

Roy, you will most likely find that those haikus you were reading were of Japanese origin and would have conformed to the proper format in that language. Only in translation do they loose the odd syllable. As for the others, they were literally using 'poetic licence'. Like every form of art, haiku is not for everyone.
This thread was meant to be a bit of fun. Thankfully most have taken it as such.

this is nt a Haiku, it is more a Clerihew with a legt knocked off
