Whatsapp Will Be Blocked On Older Phones

What version of Android is running on it?

The Galaxy A40 was only issued 2½ years ago. It was sold with Android 9.0 on it but it might have auto-updated since then.

Android 4.1 was released 9 years ago.

Go to Settings > About Phone > Software Information to view the version of Android on your phone.
