So I have had a pretty good beard going on for around 10 years with no problems, then I started getting itching and scabs on either side of my chin, I put up with it for a few months and tried zinc oxide creams. the problem was, it's not easy getting creams on my face with a heavy beard. So I thought, the only thing to do is to shave off the beard which I reluctantly did. Apart from a very slight redness from the scratching, there was nothing at all, no dry skin and the itching stopped! So I didn't shave for a week or two, no itching, no rash and all was fine, so I'm growing my beard back, the beard is now around 1 inch long and the itching has started and again it feels scabby under the beard. Does anybody have any ideas on what to try next, Ive tried different shampoos, etc., and even washed the beard in freshwater with no product at all, and still no difference. Help!!

By the way, what happened in the end with the concrete balls sold on eBay?
E45 is a wonder cream. Cures a lot of things. Worth a try.

Hi Hopkirk, well the balls were never collected and he didn't put up a complaint with Ebay within the allowed time, so I kept the balls and he was out of pocket. All the balls have now been re-sold. I have now stopped making the balls, the demand was very high and I have too much work on with my care business and my foot care business. Im getting too old, i'll end up working myself into an early grave lol.

Gill, I tried it, it done nothing for me apart from getting my beard matted with all the cream, it's not easy getting the cream on my skin through the beard.
Result with eBay then.
Teatree oil?
Visit to pharmacy.
Nice to see you posting.
Cara well ?
obviously the beard is causing the problems so in order to get rid of it - you may need to become beard free and also probably look 30 years younger.
