Old Ee Router To A 4 G Router

I’m after WiFi for my caravan I have a old EE modem which has a space for a SIM card so I thought if I put a SIM card in would it work and use mobile data so I have WiFi

Take your SIM card out of your phone and try it. It might be locked to EE.

I find it easier to turn my phone in to a WiFi hotspot and connect my devices to that
