Electric Window

My VH Meriva 1.6 fr.passenger window has been intermittantly going down since the car was valeted about a month ago.....become worse over the last week or so. As soon as I insert the ign. key & turn to the first position. It doesn't respond to mine or my passengers button. Will go up and stay if I turn the driver door lock a quarter anti-clockwise turn & hold.

sounds confusing, they might have got the switch wet, try unplugging one switch and see if it still does it, doesnt it still have warranty

I'm a bit dubious about taking off the door panel - not sure which corner to hook out first!
I think the car IS still under warranty....
