Extraordinary that some Tories are supporting Sunak as Tory leader. Does anyone remotely sensible believe that British voters will support a multi-millionaire. There is, of course, nothing wrong with being a multi-millionaire but it just won't wash with voters. His supporters must be completely out of touch. That he is actually standing shows he's not fit for the job.

I doubt whether he wealth will make much difference. He's got other things to cope with to get sufficient support. But at least people know his name.

Chanel 4 News did an exclusive survey among those who will be choosing the next leader of the Tories (can't recall if they said how many they had asked) and Sunak was way out in front.
Soon as i heard that, i logged onto my 365 account but he's as short as 2/1. I was hoping for 4s or thereabouts:-(

I believe he'll be seen as he is. Someone who was elected for one reason, and once he'd achieved that, was found wanting in just about every other area needed to be a successful leader.
