Thunder storms forecast foe Wednesday. Grass usually recovers over winter
until wednesday
yes, 2018, the south was Brown, soon green again.
Yes its hot but in all honesty, if it had not been splashed all over t'internet would you really notice much difference from other hot days over the years? I think its just been a headline grabbing stunt by the papers and tv channels.
Gorgeous down here in Cornwall, low humidity and 24°C - going up 2 more C. Humidity at 50 percent.

Get a fan, having to tell southerners what to do, seems familiar ;-)

I have to say it's bloomin' hot oop here in West Yorkshire
I am loving it - why wouldn't we - we get miserable weather the rest of the year - oh dear I'm not complaining. I think the sun not only shines but makes you shine too. Just wear cool clothing and get out there and enjoy.
Just been across to the shop & it's way too hot for me outside. Strict instructions from the doc to stay out of the sun or cover up - skin cancers.

I don't worry about brown grass, it'll soon green up again when the rain comes
