i put a cheque in envelope at pist office to put in bank and forgot put payslip in envelope what will happen

At a guess, your cheque will simply sit in their "What the hell do we do with this?" pile until you contact them to get your problem rectified. (Realistically, there's not much else that they could do with it, is there?).
Have a word with the counter staff at the Post Office branch where you paid the cheque in. I'm sure that you won't be the first person with such a problem, so there must be a solution to it.
(Just for future reference though: If you've got a smartphone, and put your bank's app onto it, you can probably pay in cheques simply by photographing them. You definitely can with the Barclays app, anyway).

Did you put anything in with it that would identify you?
I've only paid a cheque in once via the Post Office - apparently I should have included a slip with it - which neither I nor the Post Office had.
If I remember right - the Post Office entered the cheque onto their system - and about a month later it was finally paid in to my account.

If it was a Natwest envelope then you should have put the sort code , account number and amount in the boxes on the front of the envelope. The cheque would have your name on it so although you didn't put a paying in slip inside, I can't see there being much of a problem. If you mean that you put it in an ordinary envelope then sorry I don't know what will happen.
