He makes me laugh. A little while ago he 'cancelled' himself before the venue he was due to appear at got the chance to 'cancel' him.

Back in the 80's, at a management seminar, we were told that at least 2% of all employees must be from an ethnic background, regardless. That figure may have changed now. Don't know. However, one guy said that if applicants, whoever they were, didn't meet the requirements and have the qualifications, then they wouldn't get the job. And why should he not be able to hire just who he liked or disliked, anyway, regardless. Because it's the law, came the reply. Does the law apply to the selection of players in a team? Any team?

I think John Cleese is correct about the comedians and the cancel culture but i am afraid he is going a bit gaga too. It is sad.

Nor are they employed the BBC.

Actually, it isn't that he wants the BBC to stop showing the team, but that he thinks the BBC might. When there's no suggestion of it. It is just going to get people worked up about nothing. There is no mention of him joking about it.
