What Should I Do If I Have A Crush On A Guy I Haven’t Seen In A While?

I used to work with this guy about 3 years ago who I had a crush on and he was always really nice to me and tried to talk to me however he had a girlfriend at the time. I don’t think he has a girlfriend anymore though. He went to the same university as me (which I still attend) but I’m not sure if he still goes there. I haven’t talked to him since we worked together but recently saw one of his Instagram posts and now I miss being around him. I was thinking of trying to contact him on social media causally maybe see if he goes to the same university still or someone causal like that. However, I’m not sure if he’d think that would b weird cause I haven’t seen him in so long. What should I do?
