Normal Or Not Normal?

I’m having a disagreement with my partner about something. He comes home and announces he’s hosting a fondue party at our place with some girl from work. I said I think that’s a little weird that you would host a party with anyone that’s not me at our house. He is very convinced that this is a reasonable normal thing to do. What do you think, normal or not normal.

be careful - who knows where a shared love of cheese can lead!
I would be livid if my husband organised something like that without asking me first. Tell him you'll go ahead with it as long as everything is done by him and his colleague, including clearing up, washing up and getting cheese out of the carpet. You do nothing, I'm assuming you are invited, just sit and enjoy, if you like cheese, that is, and have your own supply of dips, no sharing.
Not too many worries about cheese on a carpet we think.
if it goes well it will probably be a toga party next . . .

Bounce him out. He has no respect for you.
If my husband had done anything similar he would have been shown the door.
^^^^ WOW - you don't mess about Ringlet!
I wouldn't like it. Why cannot he use the staff/conference room at work???
maybe he's a refuse collector?
