My grass has greened up well, after a day of rain last week, but some of the trees are looking parched.

i know we need more rain, to help the farmers with their crops and livestock.

I have a parcel ready to go, and I didn't want to go there, only to find them on strike.

not sure in which case, can you phone your local post office.

looking quite nice here at the moment..may get a potter in the garden as my cold feels very much better although my voice is still dodgy and feel very tired yet !

Yes, the next Royal Mail strike is planned for Wednesday. Here’s the full list of remaining strikes dates: Wednesday 31 August Thursday 8 September Friday 9 September How will services be affected? Royal Mail has said letters will not be delivered on strike days. However, post offices will remain open.
