Shoving mobiles in the Royals faces? It's so disrespectful.

I agree tigerlilly, it's an extremely disrespectful act.

The RF have accepted this since the year dot,and normally the public don't get the chance to film history in the making.
Selfies, ha, ha. 'I was here, look at me' who is interested?
I suppose there must be a good reason to take such a selfie - let me think a moment...

Say you had a close relative seriously ill in hospital, unlikely to see you on television - yes, I guess that might excuse it...
Agreed Choux, or a passport/driving license, etc.
Would it help to pass the test if you had a selfie of the King?
Are there private roads in Poundbury? ;)
I agree tigerlilly, it's an extremely disrespectful act.
Back in the day didn't we take our camera's with us?

The Royal Family are used to being photographed by whatever devise is pointed at them and with the media throng generally out of sight to us, they face a thousand lenses.

Some pretty rude and sarcastic comments here, if you can't be nice scroll on.
You need
Tigerlilly...it is Chatterbank, so you'll always get a mix of responses.
I couldn't bear having a phone shoved in my face, but I expect the Royals are well used to it and take it in their stride. It's obviously allowed, otherwise security would step in, I imagine.
In short people have the means to capture history for themselves. I didn't see anyone plant their phone on the end of someone's nose. Did you?
It’s part of the job now in the new modern royalty. Like any celebrities .
And the modern world in general. It's a good job the phones are rolling in Ukraine for personal loss of a murdered family member along with the mass murder.^^

I am new Pasta but it's pretty rude to bark, so what. As my question says it's about manners. Great photo by the way.
