I've spend the whole of Easter Sunday cleaning the house. My own fault really, because I've got so behind with it. And I'm not finished yet. I still have the bathroom to do, the shower curtain to wash (really needs it) the kitchen floor to clean and a couple of beds to make.
I think I need a cleaning schedule to help me organise myself into little and often but with only evenings and Sundays to do it in how can I spread the load better?
In the meantime I've stopped for chocolate moment !
If we knew the secret of that we'd all be doing it It's not so bad when one is young, gets worse as one gets older. I think my place will be in better shape once I've left the rat race. Or maybe not.
Do you work full time Maydup ?
How many people in your household ..etc .Is it a big house ?
I might think about employing a cleaner if I couldn't hack it .
I used to work full time and run a home and family ..when I was younger and had more energy and good health ....lol.
Failing that if you just keep the basics clean ( kitchen ,bathroom ) nobody is going to notice a bit of dust .
It's really nice to see a clean house, but it doesn't last long. Tickle it through the week, give it a good clean on one of your days over the weekend, it's all you can do. I need to catch up on mine, but I'm so tempted to put a dress & heels on & just go out somewhere, bit of work bit of play, otherwise life is boring isn't it ;0)
I keep thinking i need a routine. The trouble is, we give the clients' houses a clean after they're up, washed, dressed etc. Their houses are immaculate. Perhaps i just need to book on my rota an hour a day at mine!
Washing down the kitchen cupboards this morning, still haven't washed the floor. But we're going out in a couple of hours so what isn't done by then will have to do itself.
