Correct, of course. Logic goes back to the Greeks, and I guess there have always been people who thought they were 'rational' - still are!
The Italian artistic Renaissance was though, still steeped in, and arguably sponsored by the church. The Enlightenment not.
The Bible uses this term only only once at revelation 16:16 . this is not a human war but one between Jehovah God. and the whole earth's rulers who are ruling at at this time.
