BMW Service

My BMW is due for an oil service it has done 46000 miles, the last service was done at a non BMW garage, is it worth me going back to a BMW garage just to get the service history back on track ?

You have to weigh up the potential benefit in re sale value versus the cost, double anywhere else. Personally I take mine to a place that are BMW specialists but not official, run by an ex BMW mechanic, It's less than half the cost of the main dealer for services and maintenance etc. I think a Full BMW service history does add value at resale but nothing like what it cost to get it.

I take mine and the wife's to BMW every time for service. One has a BMW warranty and I would rather ttake it o the dealer just in case and the other doesn't do many miles so it's not there very often - so I might as well !

So sorry my answer would be - Yes.

I'd much rather see BMW service history when buying than anything else.

No But I think I'd still take it to a BMW Dealer.
