So I've been having this problem I've been getting good grades lately it's nothing new when I get good grades I get my GPA in the mail with the report card and stuff but I wanted to know how my GPA is calculated all the kids receive little like accesories as gifts/presents every year for the good GPA. I just wanted to know how many accesories I should have if I've been getting good grades for the past 3 years (9th, 10th, 11th, etc). I'm not sure so here are things I've been wondering about it.

- Is your GPA all 4 years of high school? Or Is GPA calculated just on one semester
- Is 12th grade not counted it would make sense

Hi, this is a UK site, you are unlikely to find an answer here although US persons do occasionally visit.
What is GPA?
As others have indicated, this site is based in the UK. We don't have 'grades', we have 'years, where (for example) out 'Year 11' is your 'Grade 10). We don't have SAT or ACT either. Our assessment system is based almost wholly upon examinations taken at the end of Year 11 (and, for those who remain in formal education, at the end of Year 13 too) but with some assessed coursework tasks in Years 10 and 11 (and in Years 12 and 13, where appropriate) contributing to examination marks.

We don't have 'semesters' either. We have 'terms'.

So we haven't got a clue about what you're referring to!

However we do know how to use Google ;-)

GPA grade point average but no idea how it works
In Scotland we have Primary 1 to 7, then S1 - S6
