blurry screen

2 weeks ago my computer kept freezing - so someone "serviced" it for me. It now works well but where once the "picture" fitted the screen now I lose the edges - more annoying still are the blurry vertical stripes as though someone has spilled water on a page of print I've tried the latest drivers and changing the screen resolution - ? It's an lcd csreen about 8 months old - it never left the house - only the tower. any suggestion gratefully received its driving me crazy!

You need to get the same person back to sort it as it sounds like he done something. just ensure all plugs are pushed in correctly, it does sound a bit like a fault with the monitor though, still under guarantee i expect.

Hi,

In the meantime before you take it back , try right clicking on your desktop. Click on Properties, Click on the Settings Tab and you can adjust your screen resolution. If it readjusts the blurriness etc then Click Apply, OK et voila give it a second or two and it should be OK.
