Dogs and their owners.
What the heck is going on with this sudden spate of serious incidents. Weren't the first two horrific occurances enough to make people think a bit harder about their responsabilitys as a dog owner ?

'dogs such as rottweilers always have a possibility of turning nasty' NO,ALL dogs have the possibility of turning nasty,,i have had rotties for 20 years,,never have i had a nasty one, they will protect and guard, not cos they have been 'trained' that way,no need, its in built, but knowledge and respect is needed, with all this we have always had happy healthy dogs, and no sign of any trouble with any of them,!
I have a staffordshire bull terrier who we have raised properly! I agree that it is mostly chavs who have this breed of dog and they do bring them up wrong and use them to make themselves look big and hard but if you raise them properly as i have done they are the most loving/loyal dogs and are fine with other dogs. Its not the dog thats dangerous, its the owners
