Online Fax Software Or System.

Hi, I work from home and due to the advancement in internet now hardly anyone sends a fax. But if someone does then the ink in my fax machine becomes dry for not being used regularly. I was thinking about buying a laser fax machine but then thought about these online fax services. What ones are out there, and which one out of those is cheaper (free, if possible as I would not be using it too much) and better.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.
