I hadn't heard of this being mentioned before, and if they had attempted to kill all domestic cats there would be riots and uprisings all over the place.

I don't have a cat, but I like them and feed and look out for one who lives around here and isn't the owner's priority. They would have culled him over my dead body!! A ridiculous consideration and I'm not surprised it didn't get off the ground. It's the sort of thing they do in backward countries and see it through, not civilised countries.

It would be a drastic measure. We accept it with wild animals, albeit grudgingly perhaps, but if our pets were under a similar death sentence it would be like something out of a horror film really.
I'm afraid I don't accept it with wild animals either naomi. We need a cull of humans. starting with paedophiles, baby and child murderers and the like! The world would be a much better place then imo.
This street carnage, would it be named Pussy Riot?
Would there have been enough freezer space for all the pet meat ?
"This street carnage, would it be named Pussy Riot? " - PMSL doug!

I got called all sorts of stuff - including by one or two on here who should have known better.
You can't run a country solely by science. Hubris gains the day.
It was indeed quickly obvious that nobody knew much and were unprepared to back down.
I was cowed for a while by the onslaught on our screens but came to realise that pride and a lust for power were driving things.

I think that the solution would have been to eradicate the politicians (all parties) and let Larry &Co run the country.
