Why are so many people so rude on here?
I am new here & I am filled with so many ideas & questions to ask.

Yet...

Everyone seems to have such a negative outlook on things.

Then there is the spelling & Grammer police.

Over posting tends to bother some on here, others have done it in the past, and remember we have a much higher average age so far as our members are concerned. This means spelling and grammar will be important, and ignoring the basics is seen as somehow rather disrespectful.

Love... Much overused and rarely given. Be prepared to settle for vague affirmatives after about five years by which time you might be seen as OK. (High praise indeed from some on here)

Joining Answerbank is a bit like moving to a new village in the UK, you're looked on as a newcomer even when you've lived there 50 years. Some on here just can't help being negative but the majority are friendly and helpful and many have 'specialties' like law or tech. You have to learn to take the rough with the smooth.
