Lessons cost me £8 I think it was back in the mid 70s. Then a HGV course and test down in Cornwall. Driving through Marazion in a lorry isn't the easiest thing to do and the hedge rows in Cornwall are not soft. Back to the question £54 for an hour and half isn't too bad. That's roughly the cost down here in Devon.
