...............I barely watched it last night. What I did see reminded me of a carnival parade, with people whirling and twirling about dressed in outrageous costumes. Oh, and there was some singing too. I wondered when the next float would be along.

Instead, I watched a Sky Documentary called Searching For Sugar. If you like your music with a heartening tale, then watch this. Really good.

Oh I did - the doctors sword

a buncha colleens in da repoblic pretend they didnt have ANY idea that their dad was an AVM in the RAF ( brit) , was senior british officer in nagasaki when it was bombed, and got the commandants sword for his work after

despite his book and then a radio program ( which was liberally quoted)

and they carried it off quite well.

I heard about that officer in Nagasaki, PP. Wasn't there about 6 British POWs there when the bomb was dropped and they all survived?

I looked at Eurovision but found it to be noisy and trashy, so i turned over and watched Talking Pictures TV, where there is some good films and TV programmes.
