Has died. She was 83. The sound of my youth. I saw her and Ike at Finsbury Park Astoria when they were on the Beatles Tour. Roy Orbison was on the bill too! I was 15/16. She was such a survivor. RIP.

She did indeed! It was just as Nutbush City Limits came out. We had no idea.
He kicked her in the stomach before making her go on stage knowing she was pregnant, she mis carried
Oh no, RIP Tina. One of the greatest artists and female icons of all time. :-(

I just saw the headline in my newsfeed...I literally gasped. I 've admired her for as long as I can remember. RIP lovely lady.
Always a shock when these things seem to happen out of the blue.
TT was someone so full of vitality, you just don't expect to hear she's died.
I hope she found happiness in her later life.

I recall reading the book ,I ,Tina and saw the film, from humble beginnings to a superstar despite being married to a drug addicted husband

what always used to anger me was the morons that used to interview her, they always tried to wind her up by mentioning Ike she always swatted the brainless tawts, I absolutely loved TT, legend. I never met her, I wish I had.
