People are becoming disillusioned with organized religion for a variety of reasons.

All wars are about territory -see Mad Vlad & Ukraine- not religion, WW1 & II , nada.
You really have to go back to the 13th century crusades to find a real war based solely on religion.
There was the English civil war, but that is now looked on more as a struggle against the autocracy of Charles 1.

first clause is a "if.... but you arent" conditional. ( not fulfilled, but if it were then.....)

and no - the answer is no there is resurgence ( revival ) in interest. The world and its problems - unpredictably mad Putin for example is contrasted with unchanged ritual which has meaning today

people have seen whats behind the curtain of christianity, only other religions would follow suit, great division creator, reminds me of hard core football fans ie teams..squabbling, except this is supposed to come from a higher authority, damned if you do, damned if you don't,

Despite what you may hear in the media, there are many strong and growing Christian churches in the UK.
I cant speak for other religions, but the impression i get of Islam, for example, is that it is not dying out
