You're right of course, bazwillechotora, it was a display, seldom seen in recent history, of a professional politician field simple questions with carefully formulated replies leaving no-one in any doubt that the truth was being told.
Any mumbling, stumbling, pausing, gazing into the middle distance, lack of substance is clearly a result of editing by his enemies.
