The other day, as MrSmow had been working literally 7 days a week, I decided to order him some beers to chill out and have a break. I was in too much discomfort to get to the shops so ordered thru the Deliveroo app, which we’ve used several times. About 20 mins later the driver turned up. I vaguely recognised him as having been here once before. He asked how I was, I said I was in a lot of pain with my back but ok. He then said “Do you have back pain? I give VERY good massage!” emphasising the VERY, and grinned at me. Thinking I’d mis-heard him I said Sorry?? To which he repeated himself, then adding “You are single yes?I have an hour free right now! ”. Erm no I’m not! I said, thanked him for the delivery and closed the door.
Am pretty sure that’s not part of his job description!!

I would report his behaviour, it could be intimidating to a lone female.
That's weird. When anyone other than close friends or family ask how I am I always tell them I'm fine - they don't really want to know. I hope he knows his suggestion was most unwelcome.
Barry that answer whiffs a little of victim blaming :-)
I think it's just flirting. Not worth getting uptight about. Take it as a compliment.

Mind you, I've an hour free right now ;-)

Tbh I was so shocked at the time that I just said no thanks and shut the door - it was only afterwards when I told my friend that she said how strange it was. But as has been said, think he was just flirting, just not very subtly!!
Not victim blaming, just a bit of friendly advice. Nobody has the right to make someone feel uncomfortable or threatened
That would seriously creep me out.
Quite fantastic.
I'd say that crossed the boundary of flirting and was stepping into 'unwanted sexual advances' territory. Report him.
Have you see the film? "Confessions of a Deliveroo driver"!
I've a couple of extra six packs in the van missus, would you like me to give you one?
When she'd seen the size of 'is 'ot meat pies, It darn near turned her head.
....and his tasty wholemeal bread Zacs!
Oh yes, of course ;-)
Barry I think you misunderstood my post which was a bit tongue in cheek. I thought you suggested the Op should have replied OK thanks when asked, instead of engaging in a convo which may have prompted the flirty reply.
That remark could rub some people up the wrong way.

I would have left him in no doubt that his remark was unwarranted.
Join the list of The offended or shrug off an impertinent delivery driver.
I would have laughed and felt a bit flattered! Suppose those that say report him would report someone for wolf whistling or saying 'ello darling' when passing a building site. Lighten up, real nutters are unlikely to use that sort of approach.
He was very unprofessional. If he comes again and repeats it i would report him to his employer.
