We had a lovely meal out last night but I was so tired towards the end of the evening - I didn't take much rocking last night.
What does everyone have planned for today? Whether it's BBQ, Sunday roasts, picnics, crosswords, visiting family or just vegging out, have a superb day!
Son in laws Mam has her, I’m told she’s being thoroughly spoilt there, yes I miss her and come Thursday , I’ll look forward to seeing her wee cheeky wagtail
Morning all the newbies in - I'm off to find a coffee, a paper and feed 'la bagnole' some breakfast - the car that is. Lady CG, not sure yet but probably a green salad with some additions, maybe grapes in it? Grpes in the salad and grapes in the glass can't be too bad!
Back on later if there are still folk lolling around here. Bye for now.
That sounds just the job, DT. Have a fantastic day.
I'm sure she'll be equally delighted to see you, Bobbi. I remember the mutual joy when Alfie and I were reunited after any time apart. I still miss him terribly now.
Our first little Yorkie was called Alfie , Bill bought him for me when we first got married, he was a tiny Hepworth Silver and even after all these years I still miss the little fella
Howdy Chip, top of the morning to you! I hope you have a super day.
I don't think you ever forget four-legged family members, Bobbi. I still remember Rocky and Jasper who passed in my childhood. They will never be forgotten.
Good morning everyone. Grey and overcast here but humid and definitely not cold and in fact just looked out of the window and the sun is doing its best to shine.
Good morning everyone, looks like another scorcher oop here in west Yorkshire. No plans for the day (always subject to change) just tottering around my abode cleaning and doing little odd jobs I put off yesterday.
No comparison but even God rested on the seventh day ;-)
Hope you all have a lovely day whatever it may bring you.
Not so keen on hot sun myself. I know others love it but coolish is better for me. I get quite distressed when in the sun.
That is one of the problems with our holidays. For the past 8 years I have refused to go anywhere hot and sunny and OH refuses to go anywhere less than unbearable. He also refuses to entertain the idea of separate holidays.
Hot holidays have included :
Spain, several times - unbearable,
Greece, several times always nice people - far too hot,
West Indies, - lovely people but omg,
Southern France - far too hot,
Parts of Africa, people kind and friendly - you are joking.
One lovely holiday in winter to Arctic Circle where he did not stop complaining about being cold.
Oh dear, that's a bit of a dilemma then. Could you not go somewhere where the weather is not too hot and not too cold? Some parts of the US or Canada at the right time of year would suit, I imagine.
