I have several Paul McKenna CDs, among them the weight loss one. I do find these very good, as they put you in the right frame of mind while also giving a logical approach to how we should view the food we eat. As all things hypnotic, these CDs are very relaxing and leave you with a sense of confidence, a fresh outlook and the belief that you can in fact achieve your goals in a gentle and healthy way. It is probably advisable to listen to the CD before breakfast and just before you go to sleep at night - or more often if need be. I doubt very much that the book would work for me as it is Paul's hypnotic skills and voice that play an integral part in instilling his theories into my mind.
