I have had an email from a Michael Langley-Smith asking me to email him back if I received it. I’ve never heard of him! I trashed it. Now I have received another one! Have any of you had anything like this?

Yup, all the time - bin them.

The email me back is to confirm your email is valid and than the scam can commence. Usually.
Right click on it, click on junk, then block sender.

I’ve had someone emailing me for weeks desperate to give me the £20,000000 I’ve apparently inherited. Each time I block them they send another with a slightly different email address. Omg - maybe it’s true!

I sometimes get this kind of email from a woman whom I've never heard of. I just ignore the emails. I have tried to find the woman by doing a general search, but no luck.
I have not had one such as him, but i am trashing scam emails a lot, some are clever in pretending to be my utility companies and some are poor quality with errors and mistakes.
Beware: Sometimes the mistakes are deliberate, trying to provoke a response from you.
