I Watched The First Few Minutes Of Last Night’s Question Time (With An All Brexit Voting Audience)
First of the panellist to be interviewed was John Redwood, who stated that Brexit had nothing to do with the current economic woes of the UK. The chair (Fiona Bruce) allowed him to get away with making this statement unchallenged.
Why did she not point out that this was contrary to reports by the Office for National Statistics, the Bank of England, the Office for Budget Responsibility, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, the Financial Times (and others) – and then quote the reported economic losses to the UK (as a direct result of Brexit)?
Clearly the BBC is being biased, allowing these Brexit supporting idiots a platform on national television, to continue spouting Brexit lies.

Well you find it pointless debating the issue with me and, as far as I can recall, I’ve never lied. You might, of course, find it pointless because you seem unwilling or unable to engage in a reasoned debate, accepting that others may hold a different opinion to you. Instead you resort to questioning their intelligence.

Then they need to wind their necks in and accept that people with a different viewpoint to them are not necessarily stupid. To take you as an example, you refuse to discuss any aspect of the UK leaving the EU other than the effect it has allegedly had on the economy (with the occasional reference to queues at Dover – which have been going on since the 1980s). You drone on and on about it, posting up YouTube clips of blokes droning on and on about it. That, I can take (or ignore). But to label people with whom you disagree as stupid does you no favours at all.
For the record (once again) I fundamentally disagree with the EU as an institution and I’d prefer it didn’t exist (for reasons I have explained on here many times). For that reason alone, I’d prefer the UK to have no dealings with it at all. But being pragmatic I realise that it does exist and that we have to engage with it. But I would like that engagement to be kept to a minimum, only as much as absolutely necessary and that necessity most certainly does not stretch to membership. I don’t care what effect non-membership has on the UK economy; it is unlikely to have anything like the effect that more recent events have had. I don’t care if there is a little friction at the border when I visit an EU nation (though I have to say I’ve encountered none so far and on my last trip it took me longer to gain entry back into the UK on my return than it did to be allowed into my destination).
So does all that make me stupid? Or could it possibly be that I simply hold a different view to you? You don’t seem able to grasp that possibility, let alone accommodate it.

Well said Roy, I don’t feel I’ve lost out since voting to come out personally , I’m no worse off but I do feel it for my friends trying to earn a living abroad because of the 90 day rule that prevents a young person taking a year out and perhaps working in a bar or a restaurant for that time,but for me? Nothings changed except we are no longer under the thumb of European bully’s
