Moving the discussion along, what does the Portman Group propose to do about the link between strong liquor and driving?
And Sainsbury's, I hope you can sleep at night. :-)
Moving it further along ... have you seen the prices for a decent aged Speyside or Highland whisky? It has just about doubled in 4 years. Struggling to source a good double cask 10/12 yr old dram for under £60 nowadays. My go to bottle has gone from around £35 to £77. They want shooting.
My second son used to love playing with toy guns when he could. I never bought them, other people in the family did. When he was about 5,he said he wish he could have a real one. I told him not to be silly. I asked him why he wanted a gun , his reply; "To shoot people"
Couldn't believe my ears!
By the way, he's a levelled headed guy now. :-)
My old dad took home a Luger pistol from WW11.I wish we still had it.It might have belonged to some of the head honchos.Once he ran out of bullets(he would shoot rabbits for his denner).Me and my brothers used to play with it.A bonny gun.
