Princess of Wales. Is anyone else getting a tad fed up of seeing her in the papers every day in another outfit? Is this the Press’s way of annoying MeAgain?

^Well, he did when he was still talking to him.
hypocoric - from the Greek to use child talk
erm no - I know people whine when I say ' erm no' and scream god knows what..... but

Hypo -ὑπό under or leedol
core - κόρη girl or daughter - coros is boy

and that is it. - I was attracted to his, as the dicitonary ( liddel scott this time) says the well known:

pupil of the eye, because a little image appears therein (v. Pl.Alc.1.133a), “κύκλοπα κούρην”

and if you wish to say the pupils of the eye are difft sizes, you use
anisocoria...

"forming a diminutive of endearment," 1650s, hypocoristick, from Greek hypo- "under, beneath, less than." Related: Hypocoristical (c. 1600).

speech wd be legw or fee-mee

Naomi wins the internet today.
Haaaa! Sorry, it was an afterthought. :o)
...or used to when they talked to eachother
"William calls Harry ‘Harold’." Anyone else hear Wilfred Bramble when you read that?

They both seem like very decent people.

The press does what it does. It has heroes and villains. Right now Wills and Kate are both saintly.
I've got a lot of time for Kate. It's a heck of an ask to learn to live your life as a future queen and learn everything required, whilst having the courage to amend and change that which you believe in (such as child rearing) and all under the public microscope. She's done, and is doing, brilliantly. She's too thin - I worried about that, and suspect that she is living on the edge at the moment. Not least due to the Meghan/Harry debacle. She also uses too much make-up (I've met people who have met her) but again that is part of the job.

It's quite a job she has taken on anyway and H & M have made it 10 times harder. So far as I can gather she is quite economical in her clothing and she does re-use.
//William calls Harry ‘Harold’.//

Oh I'm sure he uses much shorter words these days!
I posted on Thursday;

**'Kate' is a hypocorism for Catherine.

'A hypocorism is a pet name, nickname, or term of endearment — often a shortened form of a word or name. Adjective: hypocoristic. It derives from the Greek word meaning "to use child-talk." ' **

Interesting that the Duchess of Sussex (American actress) is always referred to as 'Meghan' never any form of endearing diminutive. I think that says much about the public's opinion of her.
I think she is lively. Better than bad news which is even more annoying
Lovely!!!!!!
//Princess of Wales. Is anyone else getting a tad fed up of seeing her in the papers every day//

Nope, she is the only royal *** worth looking at or listening too!
The remaining royal *** can get stuffed!
Kate is a lovely woman and dresses impeccably. I have always liked my royals to show some control and humility but like a lot of people she has not always lived to this. Diana was a lovely person but Kate is better in the media.
