Why did one of the Carnegie brothers take his clothes off before exiting? It didn't seem to fit with the plot, unless I dozed off!

I think it was just to re-inforce the characters aggression towards everything and everybody. I agree, it was a bit gratuitous, but taking your kit off is a very personal and private thing. Hence the the accentuation of the character 'No givin' a ****' as you would say. That's my theory anyway.
