Redman was a believer and described a sighting when he was quite young in a fairly isolated spot near his home in Anglesey. He was certain he saw a large dark silvery craft in a field with figures moving around it. He said they were there about 10 minutes then got back in and the object took off vertically, and silently but far faster than any aircraft he could find out about. The thing he stressed was the silence, so definitely not a helicopter or conventional aircraft. He wasn't drunk either he was about 15 at the time just coming home after an afternoon birding.

Rowan, I saw something I didn't recognise at quite close quarters too - and in broad daylight. That was silver and silent.

Somewhere I have the drawing he made at the time, he was a keen sketcher when young. He described the visitors' quite well too, about the height of a tallish man , very slight in build and either having dark oily skin or skin type suits but with no visible facial features. He was looking through binoculars .

The thing I saw was round - ball-shaped - flying low and absolutely silently over the rooftops of a four storey block of flats. There seemed to be glass at the front glinting in the sunlight.
