good Monday morning Birdies xx let's hope for a good week ahead.. still a bit wet here, more torrential rain yesterday..but it eased up later in the day and I was able to get to the cat rescue centre...lots of cuddles later I emerged..could have taken them all home !

Good morning Minty.
Very misty at the moment after a dull and wet day yesterday. Not nice for gardens and not ice for holiday makers. Saw lots of families wandering through the village yesterday looking for somewhere to go or something to do.

morning ladyjan xx peak of the Summer holidays..what a shame the weather is not cooperating ! many pounds are spent here during the Edinburgh Festival too..fear the wash out is pending...

There also seem to be a lot of French and German cars on our lanes at the moment. An escape from their rather warm weather?

oo most likely.. Edinburgh is lost to tourists from around the globe for all of August... lots of Chinese last year !!

Only housework planned for today so rather a dull person sitting here I'm sorry to say.

Got some rather sad news yesterday and am still pondering on it. Personal so not willing to share. Just very sad and nothing that I can do about it.

I need cheering.
