Did you have trouble guessing today's wordle??
I guessed it on my last go. Must say again, it is not a word I use & I'm sure Americans don't either.

I managed a four - very biblical term

I got it in three. It was only much later I realised I could have chosen another word by changing one letter.

I changed my starting tactic and use words with one vowel and four different consonants and I think that pays off better.

Tree grows in Brooklyn - betty smith is reading genesis and asks what 'beget' means. Heer mother tells her it means 'git' ( a baby).

when playing betty tells her playmate she is gonna "beget her skipping rope" - the mate says 'you're weird' and walks off.

In Judy's court cases instead of "interest rei publicae sit finis ad litem " - yeah sozza Naomi some latin - which means - "it is in the interest of the republic there is an end to litigation"
Judge Judy : a case shall not beget a case - ( it might be Callinda Lockhart).

I tend not to use beget - my last go was 'greet' - er yes I see the 'b'
