is it just me or can anyone else out there not look at a smeg fridge without giggling since watching that early red dwarf episode.

No, it's not just you. Many years ago I didn't even know there was a make of fridge called smeg, and I only found out because a lorry passed me with "Smeg" plastered all over the side of it. My passengers didn't know why I was laughing so much.

I also think of Cryton saying 'you're a smeeeeeeeeee heeeeeeeeeee', unable to say smeg head! lol

I once saw, in a shop window a pink Smeg fridge, it was awesome. Mr Boo thought i'd lost the plot as I was drooling at the shop window over a smegging (heh!) fridge.

We have a Smeg fridge - bought because

a. It looks good
b. as a tribute to Red Dwarf

Makes us smile everytime we go in the kitchen

Well you should try selling them for a living! Every time i point out in my showroom.. the Smeg is very good... i can't help cringing incase they are thinking what i am!

I am confused. What on Earth are you talking about? I have never heard of a "smeg fridge". You seem to be amused at a make of fridge coincidentally having the same name as a fictional swear-word, as used in a TV comedy series, as if there actually was such a thing. But I have never seen or heard of any fridge called "smeg", therefore it can't possibly exist. Therefore it is not logical to laugh at it.
