Whilst true that the figure is low, so are all other comparable figures from other countries. And that makes a big difference. However you try to cut it or demean it it does show the UK growth to be stronger and not at the bottom. This has an affect on the countries standing and also drives decisions like interest rates and taxation let alone the financial market reactions.
