What does "Advanced on" mean?
1 to 9 of 9
That is poor grammar and out of context is difficult to define.
Advanced means 'moved forward' or 'progressed'.
Can it also mean 'made a move on' as in ' chatting up or making an advance???
Does this help. Its not quite as I said above perhaps.

Maybe give us an example of a sentence or phrase with it in that you heard or read
"The army advanced on Moscow"
You wish, Khandro ;-)

I'd just pay by card...makes tipping awkward though. I went to one country though where they didn't take them...think it was German Town so paid euros cash.
You may find they'll take euros for tips
