I'm having difficulty visualizing what you mean jj. 

Is the pitcher tall or squat?  Is the boat like a gravy boat (I'm guessing not) or an actual little boat?

I can't find plastic pitcher/bowl sets...all China or glass.

the pitcher broke in bits but I got away with very fine marks on the sink.  You can't see them but you can feel them.  What kind of stuff should I buy that won't wash away

pasta I have found about to buy a nice pitcher so that's not a problem.  it is my sink  - the only person would notice would be a cleaner cleaning the sink and that is usually me but I would like it corrected.

My last bath had a chip in the enamel due to something dropping in it. It was white. We used a very versatile product called Sugru or similar sounding. It was like a plasticine that dried hard.No one knew there was a chip there .
