Just heard her laugh described as 'wonderful and infectious'.

Is it me?

It may be 'infectious', but so is typhoid!!

I can't do with her, her 'positive' big woman 'image', her gormless Brummie accent, and no, I don't watch This Morning.

Any thoughts on her?

I can't watch her

There is another woman very similar, I can't watch her either

My heart sank when I heard she'd been drafted into Bake Off.

Thanks for the video Piggy. From the thumbnail picture I thought she was going in.

I love her, but in small doses.

Would that be Rusty Lee ?Barry

I for one am glad there are not more people like Alison, but each to their own. I find over jolly people over the top and tiring and very unfunny.  They take over.

No, not Rusty, a younger woman

That was a hoot, Piggy - have to give a wonderful, infectious laugh. x

That's another one.  Rusty Lee.  So loud about everything!

Andy-Hughes, with respect. were you hungry when you started this thread

Or hangry?

Arksided and Douglas - neither, actually!!

I seem to remember her on a Weight Loss programme on TV?

She's no better or worse than some of the TV so-called celebrities.  She seems to enjoy what she's doing and that's something.

She's easily ignorable. I thought that Matt Lucas would be terrible on Bake Off too, but he proved me wrong. I'll give her a chance.

Andy, were you thinking of Gammon ??!!

I find over loud people quite wearying, too. I want to back away with my fingers in my ears.

Not to keen at all, why? She is like many on TV, and by what I've seen especially day time tv, works very hard for acceptance. She and others wear 2 masks, her false one is way over the top. They would all do well to cut the BS  and just be themselves, and they might just not have to wear such masks.

The worst I think is Rosie Jones.  Utterly unbearable for even a moment.

She's definitely the new Rusty Lee. I quite like her positive attitude and her 'can do' approach to the situations she seems to be thrown into. I think it appeals to less confident people for whom she may be a role model and for who she may encourage to be more positive.
having said that, I can only take her in small doses

When you choose to wear such a false mask, you have to work really hard to keep impressing, sooner or later you will fall. Being yourself is real easy.

On my dislike scale she is just below Michael McIntyre.........
