Canary - You and the responders thus far are all of a similar mindset - that such shenanigins is a waste of time and attention.

But for every one like yourself and your responders, there are a thousand others who are deeply interested in the minutia of the rich and 'famous' and that interests finances and fuels a vast area of media and advertising, hence the attention to the new documentary.

A large number of people will ignore it, but a significant number will watch, and generate media copy and advertising revenue as a result.

We may ignore it, but loads don't, so we simply have to sidestep it and carry on regardless.
