How Bad Is The Theory Driving Test?

I was thinking of starting to learn to drive soon, but was worried about it. Does anyone have any experience?

I haven't done it but it is never too soon to learn the theory of driving and there are good practice tests you can do free of charge, like this one

It's little more than common sense really.

I just had a go at one of the official mock tests and passed it within 11 minutes:

it is straightforward as so many learners have poor to bad reading skills

BUT they have leedol traps in it - - elephants head in a circle does NOT mean - no elephants allowed, - no such sign, etc

certainly should NOT be a bar to learning to drive

Buy yourself a cd type disc with all the permutations of questions on it.  There are obviously many.  Watch it, watch it and watch again and again and again. When you are sick of it watch it again and eventually the correct answers will fly off the page into your head.  You will then pass the theory test.
