My Grandad told me, as a boy, the way to use a bus ticket to "clean" after going to the loo and finding nothing to use. The technique was to fold the ticket in half, then in half again, and tear off the corner that had two folds. Retain the torn off corner. Unfold the ticket and put index finger through the hole. Use finger to remove any Klingons and use ticket that is on the finger to wipe finger. Use the torn off corner to clean under finger nail.
