Cats. Cats And More Cats
This guy speaks quickly and injects some humour into his videos but the video is full of information. Most cat people know these facts, but it is still interesting.

But fairly recently I did come across a cat video (sadly, I didn't keep a note of where so I can't recall it) which concerned their speed of reaction (not covered by this guy except brief clip in intro).
The video I found showed them outstripping the strike of a snake, which I found incredible.
Makes me feel like getting one again (my last one, rescued as a kitten, unfortunately left me the day after I took it to the vet for its injections - ungrateful creature). And when I say rescue, I don't mean from an official shelter, but it approached me on my way home from the pub, and I picked it up and discovered it was severely underfed - what else could I do but take it home and feed it.
Pictured here before it deserted me (scanned from old transparency so apologies for poor image).
Pasta
During lockdown I fell down the stairs and landed on a heap in the kitchen. Frankie was stomping all over me and demanding his breakfast. I can't be 100% sure but I think that his attempt to race me down the stairs caused me to fall.
I damaged the ligaments in a knee and really whacked the other one. He wasn't impressed at how slowly I was able to move - for at least a month. Little monster!
