Thanks, Maggie.

Bet it ends with a choir singing around a new born baby.

So that's one to avoid then!

^I've managed to avoid every single one!

I watched a few episodes in the first series and that was enough.  No interest whatsoever, I'm afraid.

It's not compulsory.  We enjoy it - it has covered some issues that are relevant to us.

I agree Barry that it covers times I remember well, but babies and midwives don't interest me all.  There was so much emphasis on the actual birthing in the ones we watched.  I don't wantto watch scenes of childbirth and I've never been a great fan of newborn babies ;0))

I thought they had cut down on the number of long drawn out birthing scenes, we fast forward through those bits anyway

I enjoy them, and they are one of the few programmes that the whole family can watch together

They may have done Barry, but I've not watched since those episodes.

I know it's popular, but not our cup of tea at all.  I think you may be right Barry about the choir and new born baby.  It will be cheesy whatever they do.
