If you were arrested on suspicion of a very serious crime, would you on interview / questioning adhere to your solicitors advice to give a (no comment) to every question asked, or would you answer all questions. By the way, you have done nothing wrong and are completely innocent and know nothing of this crime your being asked about.

no comment - why have a solicitor and not follow his advice? - By the way if you already have a lawyer then there is something going on you know about....( they are expensive men to invite over just for a cup of tea)Here is something...

I agree with the Winner about PP.  His posts are difficult but underneath there is a very intelligent person and those that are intelligent will recognise it.   There are those that presume intelligence and advertise it that I don't care to read.  Peter is just one of life's eccentrics imho.

Question Author

It would be a great laugh on here if PP was a mod. Could you not just see his answer if you asked him why he had deleted one of your posts. :0) :0) :0) ha ha ha.

There's nowt wrong with PP, stop attacking posters, attack the post.

As Thatcher said," I always cheer up immensely if an attack is particularly wounding because I think, well, if they attack one personally, it means they have not a single political argument left."

I'm not attacking anyone, I am attcking an idea.

TTT - Leaving aside your unnecessary rudeness - I would not be inclined to assist the police in any way towards involving me in something that I am not involved in.

They can check my alibi easily and quickly, and it's their job to do so.

Their apologies would carry more weight if they had to understand that such a simple enquiry in advance would have saved their valuable time, and avoided red faces.

Question Author

10.08. They can check my alibi? Not if you give a no comment interview.

Checking a suspects movements is standard procedure.

It is not hampered by non-cooperation from the suspect.

Question Author

You have to confirm such when questioned. Whatever they believe in.

No comment is the best way.

nicebloke1 at 21.35 gets what I had to say.

Question Author

Yes THE WINNER. Its down to ones level of education and IQ most of the time, if not all of the time. :0) If one has problems understanding you normally see rejection of the post.

"it may harm your defence if you do not mention when questioned something you later rely on in court"

Question Author

And it does dave, like someone pointed out in one post, leaving until you get to court can be a little late to give your alibi.

Lawyer up. Loose lips sink ships!
