Sun is here in S.E. Scotland, CC, after a horrid, damp, misty day yesterday.  However, it seems we are to experience snowy weather towards end of month which will make the Easter ski holidaymakers happy but no-one else. 😊

Yes, drmorgans, I  read it as a child. The dog was called Buck - I'm pleased with remembering that.

Haz I went skiing in Aviemore once and never again.  There were rocks sticking up in the middle of the pistes and people being carried off piste on stretchers, lots of them.  Back to the Alps for me after that experience.  It was roughly 34 years ago so it's probably improved now, I hope!  Nice people there though and stunning scenery.

LB/  I love that area .. I don't ski though once won a ski-ing holiday to Thyon 2000 in the Alps and loved it, going up and down in the gondolas!  And, of course, the apres ski 🍷x

The cold wet weather is for sure hanging on, hope its not going to turn into a very short summer. My fishing gear is all ready to go no sooner the sun makes its mind up. I'm dreaming of hot and sweaty days by the lakes and rivers. :0)

Wet and miserable here in Rossendale. Next door neighbours just returned from Sydney,Australia and they said it rained most of the time.

By what little I know about that neck of the woods its either burning you to death or trying to drown you.:0) I was watching a program last week on farming in Australia and although the weather can be a bit troublsome here, its appears to be a nightmare just to grow hay for cattle in Australia sometimes, from one extream to another. Jackpot or bust.
